(ANSA) - Milan, June 30 - The Milan bourse closed 1.57% up Thursday with the FTSE-MIB rising to 16,197 points as banking stocks rallied again, recovering from Brexit turmoil and buoyed by a reported EU OK to a 150-billion-euro public guarantee.
UniCredit gained 2.2% after the appointment of its former investment banking chief, Jean-Pierre Mustier, as CEO, replacing Federico Ghizzoni who stepped down from the helm of Italy's biggest bank by assets after months of investor dissatisfaction.
