(ANSA) - Milan, June 28 - The Milan bourse closed 3.3% up
Tuesday with the FTSE-MIB rising to 15,601 points as banking
stocks rallied after two sessions of Brexit turmoil wiped almost
16% off the bellwether index.
The bourse tumbled 3.94% Monday, and 12% Friday after
Britain voted Thursday to leave the EU.
Most banking stocks clawed back some ground: UBI 9%, BPM
5.6%, Banco Popolare 1.8% and Intesa Sanpaolo 4.7%.
But UniCredit lost a further 1.5% and BPER 2.3%.
Other European bourses also rallied with London, Frankfurt
and Paris all gaining more than 2%.
