(ANSA) - Rome, May 27 - May family consumer confidence
dropped but business confidence was up, Istat national
statistics bureau said Friday.
Consumer confidence fell from 114.1 points in April to

Respondents were worried about their economic outlook, that
of the country, and their job prospects.
Aggregate business confidence rose from 102.7 to 103.4

Istat data showed.
This was the case in manufacturing (from 102.7 to 102.1),
construction (from 121.2 to 120.4), and retail sales (from 101.9
