(ANSA) - Rome, April 29 - Italy was in deflation again in
April, with prices down 0.4% over the year and steady compared
to March, Istat said in its preliminary estimates Friday. In
March deflation was an annual -0.2%. The prices of the most
widely bought goods in Italy's inflation trolley rose by 0.1% in
April compared to March but fell by 0.2% on April 2015, Istat
said in its preliminary estimates Friday. In March the deflation
rate was 0.3%.
