(ANSA) - Milan, April 7 - Unicredit CEO Federico Ghizzoni
said Thursday that he was hopeful Popolare di Vicenza's upcoming
1.75-billion-euro capital increase via a rights issue will be a
success.
"The pre-marketing has started. I'm very confident that
the operation will go ahead in a positive way," said Ghizzoni,
whose bank is underwriting the contract for the cash call.
"It's an operation that the market will respond positively
to".
