(ANSA) - Milan, February 16 - After a lack-lustre start Monte
dei Paschi di Siena (MPS) bank flew up on the Milan bourse
Tuesday posting a 12% gain. The troubled Tuscan lender had been
one of the biggest losers recently but already recouped 9.2%
Monday. It has been through a string of scandals and is top of
the Italian charts for non-performing loans (NPLs).
