(ANSA) - Rome, February 1 - An Agip oil pipeline exploded
last week in southern Nigeria, a spokesman from parent company
oil and gas giant ENI said Monday. The reason for the explosion
was not given. Production resumed earlier today. Production of
16,000 barrels a day was lost in the interim, the spokesman
said.
