(ANSA) - Rome, October 9 - Industrial production fell by 0.5% in Italy in August with respect to July, Istat said on Friday. However, the national statistics agency added that industrial output was 1% higher in August than the same month last year. It said production was 0.8% higher in the first eight months of 2015 as a whole, compared to the same period in 2014.
