Mediobanca earns record 2 bln

(ANSA) - Milan, August 5 - Italian investment bank Mediobanca on Wednesday said it posted a record annual revenue exceeding two billion euros for the first time, and registered a 27% growth in net profit to 590 million and 7.3% ROE (return on equity). The company, whose financial year goes from July to June, proposed a higher-than-expected dividend of 0.25 euros per share, up 67%.
