Euro gains despite Greece crisis

(ANSA) - Rome, June 29 - The euro gained Monday despite a widespread stock market fall and a widening of bond spreads amid the Greece debt crisis.
    The euro ended the day on $1.119 compared to $1.109 at the start of trading.
    It was also trading at 137.11 yen, a gain of 0.8%, and 0.30% up against the pound at £0.709.
