Italy's 'deflation rate' stable at -0.1%

(ANSA) - Rome, March 31 - Italy remained in deflation this month with an annual inflation rate of -0.1% in March, the same level as February, Istat said in its preliminary estimate on Tuesday. The national statistics agency added that, while the annual inflation rate was stable, on a month-on-month basis prices were 0.1% higher than in February.
