Italian universities lose ground in CWUR rankings

Rome's La Sapienza falls eight places, Padua and Milan down too

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - Italy's universities lost ground in the 2024 annual report of the Center for World University Rankings (CWUR).
    Although 67 Italian universities feature on this year's list, 75% of them dropped positions.
    For example, Rome's La Sapienza, which is Italy's top-ranked university, fell by eight positions to 124th place.
    The University of Padua slid from 171st to 173rd place and the University of Milan went down from 180th to 186th. (ANSA).
