Tamberi and fencing great Arianna Errigo will be Italy's flag
bearers at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Italian Olympic
Committee (CONI) President Giovannii Malagò told CONI's national
council Monday.
Tamberi, 31, and Arrigo, 35, will carry the tricolour at the
opening ceremony on July 26.
Tamberi is also a former world champion and two-time Diamond
League champ while Arrigo is a two-time world champ and 2012
Olympic team gold medallist. (ANSA).
