(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 28 - Istat said Thursday that consumer
confidence in Italy has fallen this month, but business
confidence is on the rise again.
The national statistics agency said its consumer confidence
index for March dropped to 96.5.from 97.0 in February, ending a
run of four months of growth.
It said its IESI (Istat Economic Sentiment Indicator)
business-confidence index rose from 95.9 to 97.0, after dropping
in February.
Despite the increase, the IESI remains below the level of
January. (ANSA).
