Mediobanca launches new bank for household savings

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 16 - The Mediobanca Group on Tuesday launched a new bank specialising in wealth management and investments for Italian households.
    Mediobanca Premier replaces the digital bank CheBanca! and is a central part of the group's 2023-2026 plan, which sets the development of wealth management services as a priority objective.
    The new brand and extended services are supported by a recruitment plan that will see Mediobanca Premier grow from the current 1,100 to 1,350 employees. Mediobanca Group also aims to increase the total assets of the bank by 25% from 39 billion euro to 50 billion euro, with a double-digit increase in commission income and an increase in net profit of nearly 100%.
