Economy hails 'record result' for BTP Valore

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 9 - The economy ministry said Friday that subscriptions to Italy's new BTP Valore Treasury bond for small Italian investors achieved the highest result ever for a product of this kind.
    The issue, which opened on Monday, closed on Friday with subscriptions totalling 18.191.090 euros.
    This, said the ministry, is the highest result ever in terms of value subscribed, but also in terms of the 654,675 contracts registered for a bond exclusively targeting small investors.
    The four-year Btp Valore has a yield of 3.25% in the first two years and of 4% in the third and fourth and a 0.5% loyalty premium for those holding it to maturity. (ANSA).
