EC assessment of NRRP 3rd installment 'nearing completion'

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 8 - A European Commission assessment of the delayed third installment of funds for Italy's post-COVID National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) is nearing completion, the government said in its quarterly report to parliament Thursday.
    "The European Commission's assessment concerning the payment of the third installment is nearing completion," said the report, stressing that the "assessment process, since the payment application was made, has required longer times, in agreement with the Commission services, due to the complexity of the targets to be met for this installment and the further inquiries that became necessary, for some deadlines".
