'We've been through a storm together' says CEO

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 7 - Juventus CEO Maurizio Scanavino on Wednesday confirmed that Massimiliano Allegri will stay on as coach of the Turin giants next season.
Allegri led Juve to 11 trophies, including five consecutive Serie A titles, during his first stint at the club between 2014 and 2019.
Things have not gone so well since he returned in 2021, although Juve would have finished in the top four to qualify for next season's Champions League, rather than seventh, if they had not been been hit with a 10-point penalty for financial irregularities.
"It was never in doubt," Scanavino told Sky Sport when asked if Allegri was staying on.
"We are in total agreement with him about the future scenarios, going from management of the sporting side of things to the transfer market and organization within a financial outlook for the club that is still rather complicated.
"We've had contact with him every day over the last few months as we went through this storm together". (ANSA).
