(ANSA) - ROME, APR 5 - Silvio Berlusconi has been admitted to the intensive care unit of Milan's San Raffaele hospital with cardiovascular problems, sources said Wednesday.

His condition was stable at the time of writing, the sources said.
Berlusconi, who is 86 years old, is talking after being admitted to hospital  and the issue in question is a problem that was not resolved previously, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, the media billionaire's No.2 in his centre right Forza Italia (FI) party, told reporters.
Tajani did not specify what the previous issue had been.
Berlusconi had spent some time at Milan's San Raffaele Hospital last week.
He had a heart operation in 2016 and was hospitalised twice last year for COVID and long COVID (ANSA).
