(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 24 - A 53-year-old woman was found
stabbed to death in a small town near Alessandria in Piedmont
Thursday and her son has been arrested on suspicion of murdering
her Wednesday night, judicial sources said Thursday.
Police said the 25-year-old man, who suffered from depression,
attacked his mother with a knife during a row, stabbing her in
the neck.
After trying to put her body into a black bin bag, the man went
to the local branch of the Carabinieri to give himself up at
Gabiano.
Police found a 30cm-long kitchen knife in the flat where the
mother and son lived.
There had not been any reports of domestic violence in the
family beforehand. (ANSA).
