Worker, 26, dies in accident in Marche

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 22 - A 26-year-old Nigerian worker died in an accident at Tolentino near Macerata in Marche on Thursday.
    The man, who has been a Macerata resident for some time, was crushed to death by fixtures that fell off a forklift truck, local sources said.
    The accident happened inside a company that makes metal fixtures.
    An emergency team rushed to the scene and tried to revive the man to no avail.
    Carabinieri police and fire teams are also at the scene.
    An autopsy has been ordered.
    The death is the latest in a long spate of fatal workplace accidents that has continued despite government action to up health and safety. (ANSA).
