Owner dead after fireworks-factory explosion

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 13 - A explosion took place at a fireworks factory in Belpasso, near the Sicilian city of Catania, early on Tuesday, killing Antonino Vaccalluzzo, 62, one of the owners of the plant, sources said.
    The explosion did not spark a fire.
    Firefighters rushed to the scene to render it safe. (ANSA).
