(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 12 - There have been 26,693 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 152 more victims
with the virus, the health ministry said Friday.
That compares to 28,433 new cases and 130 more victims Thursday.
The positivity rate is steady at 15%.
Some 306 people are in intensive care while 8,043 are in
hospital wards. (ANSA).
