(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - Italian anti-vaxxers daubed slogans against COVID-19 vaccines on Italy's premier infectious disease hospital, the Spallanzani Institute in Rome, on Friday.
"Vaccine propaganda a criminal act for rights and freedom," "vaccines kill", "State vaccine legalised extermination" and "you vaccinate children, you're monsters and murderers" were some of the slogans, along with a red W in a red circle.
Health Minister Roberto Speranza said "the intimidatory slogans that appeared this morning at the entrance to the Spallanzani represent a disquieting fact.
"I express my sympathy and solidarity with the doctors, nurses and all the professionals working there and who are protagonists in the fight against the pandemic.
"We must never forget that the vaccine campaign has saved millions of people around the world". (ANSA).
