Assault on security van in Sardinia fails

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 31 - An armed assault on a security van in Sardinia failed on Tuesday.
    A gang blocked a state highway with two SUVs and opened fire on the van but then fled and torched the vehicles when the guards drove on anyway.
    The bandits fired at least ten rounds at the van, police said.
