(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 27 - Ukrainian refugees in Italy on Friday
started getting their government benefit cheques for March and
April.
Any refugee who filed for the benefit by May 9 can now go to any
post office and claim the amount stipulated.
That is a total of 22,000 contributions for around 36,000 people
including almost 14,000 minors.
Payments for May will begin on June 10, the civil protection
department said. (ANSA).
