(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - Vatican Secretary of State for
Relations with States Msgr Paul Richard Gallagher told Vatican
News Thursday that "the Holy See and the Holy Father himself are
willing to do whatever is possible (for peace in Ukraine), the
Holy See is continuing its diplomatic activity with contacts
with the Ukrainian authorities and also via the Russian embassy
to the Holy See we have some contact with Moscow".
Gallagner is on a mission to Ukraine on behalf of Pope Francis.
