'Now you can die at home' man says after breaking four ribs

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 19 - A 16-year-old boy was beaten up by his uncle and hospitalised on International Anti-Homophobia Day on Tuesday because he is gay, ARCI Cosenza president Silvio Cilento said on Facebook Thursday.
    The boy suffered four broken ribs, a deviated nasal septum, and various other injuries.
    The uncle told the boy "we don't want queers in our family" before the beating, in which he enlisted the help of three other men, and after taking the boy home from hospital told him "now you can die at home", said Cilento.
    The incident, which happened near Cosenza, has been reported to the police. (ANSA).
