(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 18 - Italy's double Olympic gold medal winning sprinter Marcell Jacobs returned to 100m competition Wednesday winning the final in Savona with a time of 10.04 seconds.
Jacobs, who won the 100m and the 4x100m in Tokyo, notched 9.99 seconds in his heat but it was wind-assisted.
The El Paso-born athlete has had several indoor wins over 60m recently, including at the world championships.
