(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 13 - Italy supports Ukraine's bid to join
the European Union, Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio told his
opposite number Dmytro Kuleba at the G7 meeting in Germany
Friday, Di Maio tweeted.
"Italy supports Ukraine and continues to work to foster a
diplomatic process to reach lasting peace (in Ukraine)," the
minister tweeted.
"Italy backs Ukraine's joining the EU". (ANSA).
