Brothels should be reopened says Pieraccioni

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 12 - Brothels should be reopened in Italy, comic director and actor Leonardo Pieraccioni said at the presentation of his latest film 'Il sesso degli angeli' (The Sex of Angels) in Rome on Tuesday.
    Pieraccioni aid he felt "sorry" for the many 'working girls' plying their trade in the cold near his Tuscan villa home and that Italy should legalise brothels like other countries.
    In his new film, the Tuscan comic plays a priest who inherits a Swiss brothel from an eccentric uncle and uses the establishment, run by a former prostitute played by Sabina Ferilli, to help repair his diocese's failing finances.
    Sex symbol Ferilli agreed that the legalization of brothels in Italy would be a welcome move for the world's oldest trade.
