(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 16 - Premier Mario Draghi and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on Wednesday conferred by phone on the Ukraine crisis and the EU's energy security, the EC chief tweeted.
She said "I am continuing my bilateral contacts on the current security situation.
I exchanged today with Italian PM Mario Draghi. Would welcome de-escalation but missing tangible signs of it by Russia.
Also covered preparedness on security of energy supply, for the benefit of the EU and Italy". (ANSA).
