(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 24 - 5-Star Movement (M5S) sources aid
after a meeting between M5S leader Giuseppe Conte and League
leader Matteo Salvini Monday that there was "total harmony on
the need to reinforce and intensify talks, which started last
week, to ditch as soon as possible blank ballots and write a
name that will unite the country" in electing a successor to
President Sergio Mattarella.
The two leaders met to try to make progress towards a candidate.
