(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 21 - The Bank of Italy said Friday that it has cut its GDP growth forecast for 2022 to 3.8%, down from the previous forecast of 4%.
It said the revision was linked to the upswing in COVID-19 contagion and a deceleration of economic activity.
The central bank said it sees the Italian economy growing by 2.5% in 2023 and 1.7% in 2024. (ANSA).
