Life Senator Cattaneo has bag snatched on Milan metro

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 19 - Italian Life Senator Elena Cattaneo had her bag snatched on the Milan metro on Wednesday, local sources said.
    The 59-year-old pharmacologist and stem-cell researcher was in Milan's central rail station and was walking along the gap between the green and yellow COVID lines when she realised that a woman was pulling her purse out of her bag.
    Cattaneo tried to stop the woman, describe as aged between 40 and 50, but was pushed to the ground.
    The thief managed to make away with the wallet while Cattaneo was taken to hospital with a bruised leg. (ANSA).
