Industrial production back over pre-pandemic levels

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 13 - Italy's Industrial production has returned to levels higher than before the COVID pandemic, ISTAT said Thursday.
    The output index is 3.1% higher than in February 2020, a month before the pandemic started, said the national statistics agency.
    In November 2021 industrial production rose 1.9% over October, ISTAT said.
    It registered a 6.3% rise between November 2020 and November 2021, said the agency.
    The energy sector was 4.6% up in month-on-month terms and 12.4% up in year-on-year terms.
    "The expansive phase is continuing and the labour market is improving," said ISTAT. (ANSA).
