(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 7 - Some 2,165,583 Italians over the age of 50 are not vaccinated at all for COVID-19, the government said in its weekly report Friday.
Italy has introduced vaccine mandates for the over-50s.
In the 50-59 age bracket the number is 993,463, in the 60-69 bracket it is 616,595, in the 70-79 age group it is 374,464, and in the over 80 bracket it is 181,061.
The government added that there are 5.3 million unvaccinated in Italy over the age of 12. (ANSA).
