(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 14 - The 30-year-old suspected killer of a
27-year-old woman in Catania was found dead of self-inflicted
gunshot wounds in an abandoned building in the Sicilian city on
Tuesday.
The man, Sebastiano Spampinato, is thought to have shot dead
Giovanna 'Jenny' Cantarero on a road between Catania and
Misterbianco on Friday night.
Spampinato, who worked in a betting centre outside Catania, was
said to have had a "tempestuous relationship" with his victim.
He shot her several times in the face. (ANSA).
