(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 14 - An Italian priest was punched in the
face after defending a teenager against bullies in Trani in
Puglia Monday night, sources said Tuesday.
One of the bullies, who had been throwing firecrackers at the
boy, attacked Father Enzo de Ceglie after he stepped in in the
boy's defence during celebrations for Santa Lucia.
Father de Ceglie had to be treated in hospital for facial
injuries. (ANSA).
