Interior min migrant head's wife in gangmaster probe

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 10 - The wife of the migration head at the Italian interior ministry is under investigation in Foggia for gangmastering, judicial sources said Friday.
    The official whose wife has been implicated, Michele di Bari, head of the department for civil liberties and immigration, resigned after the case became public.
    His wife was among 16 people placed under investigation by Foggia prosecutors.
    Five people have been arrested in the probe.
    Three of them have been placed under house arrest, and the other two taken to jail. (ANSA).
