Knox husband slams Guede's 'lies'

Ivorian tells Sun 'others were there, she knows the truth'

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 30 - Amanda Knox's husband has slammed as a "disgrace" British tabloid the Sun's publishing "lies" by the convicted murder of British student Meredith Kercher that a court had found he did not act alone and American former student Knox "knows the truth" about the killing, for which she was eventually acquitted.
Christopher Robinson said "giving a platform and amplifying the lies of (Ivorian former drifter) Rudy Guede, who without doubt killed Meredith Kercher, is cruel for Amanda and for the Kercher family, and all for a few clicks. Shame on you".
Guede was released last week after serving 13 years of a 16-year-term for the November 1,2007 murder of the British exchange student in the Perugia flat she shared with Knox, after a court found he had killed the London-born Leeds University student but had not acted alone.
Guede told the Sun at the weekend "the court condemned me for complicity in the murder because my DNA was there but the court papers say there were other people there and I did not inflict the mortal wounds".
Knox wand her Italian ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito were convicted, cleared, convicted and finally cleared of involvement in the murder.
Asked if he was referring to Knox, Guede told the tabloid: "I only want to say that she should read the documents. As I already said they state that there were others present and I did not inflict the injuries. I know the truth and she knows it too".
Knox and Sollecito said last week that Guede acted alone in murdering Kercher. (ANSA).
