(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 30 - Prosecutors said Tuesday they are set
to drop charges of possessing drugs against the former
communications chief of the rightwing League party after he was
found with a small amount of cocaine in his home near Verona
after two Romanian men he had spent the night with reported him
to police.
Corriere della Sera newspaper reported that Verona prosecutors
will shortly drop charges because of the "particular levity of
the crime" allegedly committed by Luca Morisi.
Investigators have reportedly established that a phial of rape
drug found with the coke had been brought there by one of the
two young men and not by Morisi. (ANSA).
