Packed programme for Italy Day at Expo 2020 - Di Maio

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 18 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said Thursday that a packed programme of initiatives is in the pipeline for Italy's National Day at Expo 2020 next Wednesday.
    "The Italian pavilion at Expo Dubai, which opened on October 1, is proving itself to be an extraordinary showcase for our country and its image of being technologically advanced but also anchored to its best traditions as captured by the (pavilion's) motto, 'Beauty Connects People'," Di Maio said at the launch of the 6th 'Week of Italian Cuisine in the World'.
    "On November 24 we will celebrate the Italy National Day at Expo with a series of special events.
    "The exposition is also a platform of diplomacy and international dialogue in which Italy has the opportunity to make the most of the result achieved this year with the duty presidency of the G20 to support a robust, sustainable and inclusive recovery". (ANSA).
