(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 22 - A 61-year-old worker from Stanghella
near Padua, Paolo Merlin, was crushed to death by a rail car at
Loreo near Rovigo on Friday.
The fatal accident, the latest in a spate of such deaths in
Italy, took place inside a warehouse fitted out to be a
machinists' workshop for the Adriatica Spa company.
The victim was an employee of Udine-base rail mobility
specialist firm Logyca Umf Srl. (ANSA).
