(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 22 - There have been 3,882 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 39 more victims of
the virus, the health ministry said Friday.
That compares with 3,794 new cases and 36 more victims Thursday.
Some 487,218 more tests have been done, compared with 574,671
Thursday.
The positivity rate is up from 0.66% to 0.8%.
Intensive care cases are down 13, and hospital admissions up
four.
The currently positive are 73,729, down 21 on Thursday.
The recovered and discharged are 4,528,065, up 3,861 on
Thursday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 4,733,557,
and the death toll 131,763. (ANSA).
