Boy, 13, accidentally shoots dead sister, 15

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 18 - A 13-year-old boy accidentally shot dead his 15-year-old sister while handling their father's hunting rifle on Sunday, sources said Monday.
    The accident happened at San Felice del Benaco near Brescia, on the side of Lake Garda.
    "It was an accident, a dramatic accident," police said.
    The father was initially reported to have accidentally fired the fatal shot.
    The boy reportedly grabbed the rifle after his father came home from hunting, while he was not looking, and pulled the trigger to show his sister how it worked.
    The family owns about 10 other guns, police said.
    They have licenses for all of them.
    When the emergency crew arrived the girl, a high-school student in Salò, was already dead. (ANSA).
