(ANSA) - NAPLES, JUL 9 - An 18-year-old boy was shot dead
near Naples Wednesday night, police said Thursday.
The teen, Antimo Giarnieri, did not have a criminal record, they
said.
He was hit by four gunshots.
Rushed to a Naples hospital, he died shortly after arrival.
A 17-year-old boy who was with him was hit by a bullet in his
left side but is not in a life-threatening condition.
Police said the incident bore the hallmarks of a hit by the
local Camorra mafia.
They said the suspected hitmen used disproportionate force,
considering the age of their target. (ANSA).
