(ANSA) - Vatican City, April 3 - The Madonna is a mother who was not made a minister by God, Pope Francis said Friday.
Mary "received the gift of being the mother of Him and the duty to accompany us as a mother," he said at morning Mass at Casa Santa Marta, the Vatican guest house he lives in.
"She received all, good and bad," Francis said.
