(ANSA) - Rome, March 26 - The spread between Italian and
German 10-year bond yields dropped to 170 basis points, with a
yield of 1.40%, amid reports that the European Central Bank had
started buying bonds under its new Pandemic Emergency Purchase
Programme, PEPP.
