(ANSA) - Rome, March 26 - The G20 said Thursday it would do "whatever it takes" against the coronavirus pandemic, injecting 5 trillion dollars into the world economy.
"The virus does not have borders, and we are committed to a united front," it said after a video conference.

Premier Giuseppe Conte asked the G20 to show the maximum possible coordination on health and the economy amid the crisis.

Health Minister Roberto Speranza told his G7 counterparts Thursday that "harmonic and shared measures are needed and the maximum effort at convergence on research" against the coronavirus.
He said "finding effective drugs and a vaccine is the way to emerge from this emergency definitively. Only all together will we do it".
